I AM ARADHNA GUPTA Ruchika Girhotra’s friend
For me, spirituality is the means of awakening my soul and connecting with God. I am a spiritual person and i pass the entire credit of all my good and bad deeds to Him. I was raised in a family of believers and i firmly believe in the existence of a supreme power. It is God who has given me the strength to brave all situations and fight a legal battle for my friend Ruchika.
I feel i am God’s chosen warrior and at the same time i feel blessed to be part of a crusade for the right cause. The path carved out in the Bhagavad Gita is the philosophy of my life. I don’t just read it but implement it as it charts out a practical way to live a fulfilling life.
My parents are spiritual and they influenced my spiritual beliefs from a very young age. I believe in chanting. Usually, i cut myself from rest of the world and chant in my room. When Ruchika committed suicide, i was shattered and had lost hope in myself. I used to cry a lot but then my parents came to my room and said that now the entire legal battle rests on me. It was at that moment that i realized that it was God talking to me through my parents.
Now after winning the first set of legal battles for my friend, i am all set to fight the rest of the war. There is also peace in my heart that finally my friend’s voice to get justice is being heard.
